Sisters and Brothers,

After a tough round of bargaining, we are prepared to unanimously endorse a package that reflects the membership needs as a whole and the mandate you provided.

This round of bargaining has indeed been challenging. Based on the survey results the mandate from the membership was clear. We were forced to push past the expiration of our contract in order to secure a fair deal that properly reflects your hard work and dedication. Your committee stood strong knowing the membership had our backs, and we pressed forward until the mandates were met.

Our bargaining team stands united to recommend this tentative agreement. We firmly believe this is the best possible outcome we could achieve without taking labour action and are confident there was not a penny left at the table.

We are proud to say that this negotiation has been characterized by gains, not concessions, particularly concerning our work rules. This represents progress for all of us, maintaining the integrity of our work conditions and pushing for greater benefits.

We are organizing townhall calls to discuss this pivotal agreement further. The calls are scheduled for Wednesday, March 6th at 6:00 PM MST, and Thursday, March 7th at 6:00 PM EST. Interpretation services will be available for both sessions to ensure that all members can participate fully.

Your presence and voice are essential during these discussions. We strongly encourage each one of you to attend these townhall calls, as they will be instrumental in guiding the final decision-making process.

In Solidarity,

Your Bargaining Team
